Würth and the arts

Dealing with the arts has become an integral element of the Würth Group's corporate culture. The strong presence of art and the many activities surrounding this issue are a logical consequence of Würth's corporate culture being filled with life.

The exhibitions taking place either directly inside the respective subsidiary of the Würth Group or in its immediate surroundings make it possible for art and business to exist side by side, inspiring each other. Every year, we present two to three exhibitions based on the works of the Würth Collection to the interested public in the different locations. Cultural side-events and active education in art particularly promoting children and young adults supplement the program.

The exhibition program is exclusively based on the Würth Collection that has since the 1960s been continuously added to and today comprises more than 15.000 works of mostly modern and contemporary art.

At the initiative of Prof. Reinhold Würth, the corporate collection has been presenting itself chiefly in the Würth Museum at corporate headquarters, in the southern German city of Künzelsau, and, since 2001, in ”Kunsthalle Würth” in Schwäbisch Hall. In 2008 the Johanniterkirche in Schwäbisch Hall was opend. The art galleries are supported by Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG. Since 1999, the Würth Group member companies in Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Switzerland and Spain have been presenting works of art from the Würth Collection regularly in exhibitions specifically designed for them. The initial idea of bringing fine arts and the business together is being carried on continuously and filled with life.
